i tried to play afterburner on xbox 360 and it gets to loading the start level, after picking the aircraft and it freezes. also a few days ago i was trying to play another arcade game, game room, and it freezes when loading the level. what is happening. how can i fix it?

Hey guys. I was on the Spirit of Tasmania (a ship) in 2000 or so and in the games room they had an arcade game that I've been trying to remember. I think the storyline involved anime characters, he was an inventor or something. Anyway, it was yellow and had bicycle pedals and in the game you pedaled a Leonardo Da Vinci style bicycle with flapping wings and you flew through the sky, over fields and farms etc, collecting points and stuff. Any ideas. It was a really cool game too,

I'm not so sure... I think arcades are becomming a thing of the past.. I know in Minnesota of at least 10 arcades that have shut down, due to the lack of business.

Arcade's are dead. Have been for close to 10 years. Why? Because the home consoles have become so powerful, arcade machines cannot compete for that same dollar. Why pay 75 cents to play one 3 minute game when you can play anyone around the world from your home. Online gaming has absolutely killed the arcade.As for a video game store, the minute you open your small, independent shop, Gamestop will move in across the street and run you out of business. I do not mean to be a cynic, I have just see it happen time and time again. None of the three choices would bring in a profit for 2-3 years. Not being cynical, just being realistic.

Question : Can you play Oblivion on a XBOX360 Arcade? And what games need install?
My little brother is getting a Xbox and he really wants Oblivion, but he only is getting the Arcade so I'm only going to buy him the base game - the thing is that - will it play on it? Is there enough room for game saves, and, do you have to install to play?As well, what games require installation so that I can avoid buying them for them?
Answer:
The 360 is not like the PS3 in that manner. You do not have to install games. All that is required for gamesaves is a few KB. Rockband has a feature for RB1 & 2 where you can download the songs from one of the games so they are available to play from the disc of the other, but it is not required. Just a convenience.The only way you'll miss having memory is if you want to save arcade games/demos/dlc to your console.
