Questions & Answers
Question : Is a bathelor's degree 2 years at a 2 year college plus 2 more years at the 4 year college?
In other words will this be a bachelor's degree, first you go to a 2 year college for 2 years, THEN you transfer to a 4 year college and study there for 2 more. Is that a Bachelors degree? Or is it just when you study for 4 years a 4 year college?

Answer:
A bachelors degree is essentially the second degree that you get.The first degree would be an associates degree. This includes associates of arts, associates of business, or science, or whatever your college offers. Many people go to two year colleges, or community colleges to obtain these degrees because they are cheaper. After finishing an associates degree whether at a 2 year or 4 year college you begin on a bachelors. This is when you must pick a major, and study for two more years and then you will receive a bachelors after fulfilling the requirements.

Question : What is a good paying job that requires only 2-4 years of school?
My boyfriend is 19 years old. He's applying for the technical school in january, so he's starting after the first semester. But he would like to make more than 50,000 annuallly. He would prefer to go to school for 2 years, but he said he would even do 4 if it would make him more money.help please.to the first person who answered-what are you talking about?

Answer:
Here you go. He has lots of options with a two-year degree, but it also depends what area of the country you live in. If you're in the South, salaries are lower. Cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco will pay more than in rural areas:1. Computer specialist -- $59,480: Depending on the employer, computer specialists perform a variety of functions, ranging from technical support to coordinating network security. Hiring managers prefer graduates with an associate degree in a computer-related field.2. Nuclear technician -- $59,200: Nuclear technicians monitor radiation and operate nuclear test and research equipment. They may also assist nuclear engineers and nuclear physicists with their research projects. An associate degree program in an applied science or specific technology should provide good training.3. Dental hygienist -- $58,350: One of the fastest-growing occupations in the nation, dental hygienists provide routine dental services including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays and preventative care. Candidates must graduate from an accredited dental hygiene school and pass a written and clinical exam.4. Radiation therapist -- $57,700: Radiation therapists administer radiation therapy to patients afflicted with tumors or cancer. Employers generally require an associate degree from a radiation therapy program.5. Nuclear medicine technologist -- $55,840: Nuclear medicine technologists administer diagnostic tests that involve using radioactive materials to monitor organ functions. An associate degree in nuclear medicine technology is standard, and many employers also require licensure.6. Fashion designer -- $55,840: Fashion designers study current fashion trends, sketch out new clothing designs, select the colors and fabrics and oversee the production of their items. Designers often hold associate degrees in fashion design or fine arts.7. Aerospace engineering and operations technician -- $52,500: Aerospace engineering and operations technicians construct, test and maintain aircraft and space vehicles. An associate degree in engineering technology is standard, and certification can be a competitive edge for job seekers.8. Diagnostic medical sonographer -- $52,490: Diagnostic medical sonographers -- also known as ultrasonographers -- administer diagnostic imagining technology used during pregnancy and to diagnose some diseases. Many community colleges offer associate degrees in diagnostic medical sonography, and some employers prefer candidates registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.9. Registered nurse -- $52,330: Registered nurses treat sick, injured and convalescent patients, and provide education on post-treatment care. RNs must have at least an associate degree in nursing and pass a national licensing examination.10. Engineering technician -- $49,440: Engineering technicians perform a variety of research- and development-related tasks, including building and setting up equipment, conducting experiments, collecting data and recording results. Employers prefer associate degrees in engineering technology, which are widely available at technical institutes.

Question : Should I keep or delete a facebook group dedicated to 2 friends who died 4 years ago?
I made a group on facebook this summer dedicated to 2 people who died from my high school, 4 years ago. Is it appropriate to have it? Also I have their pictures in the group. People have joined but noone has said anything negative about it.

Answer:
i think you should keep itas you are showing respect

Question : Is it possible to make 2 years advanced study than 4 years of university?
let's say that if you want to get your bachelor's degree in something you have to do 4 years of university but you are very smart and you want to do everything in 2 years.is it possible?does it exist special programs for special students like that?

Answer:
I reckon it would be difficult. I did physics, and generally in science and engineering courses there are problems with doing this. The main thing is that one year's work builds on the previous, so you would be trying to do stuff which you didn't have the prerequisite information for. Also, timetabling all the classes would be a pain.I guess it might be a bit easier in the humanities. Less classes to go to for one, and I don't think there's so much building on previous knowledge.

Question : Community college for 2 years and then transferring to 4 year university?
I know there are tons of questions about this already on here, but I can't find an answer to my question. What I want to know is if you attend community college for 2 years, doing general education and all that and you transfer to a 4 year university- do you then spend 4 years at university? Or is it only two more to get a Bachelors or whatever? Sorry I am a confused highschooler just trying to figure some things out! Some explanation would be very helpful. Thank you!

Answer:
first two years at community college. Next two at four year college. Make sure that you have the prerequisites (especially math).

Question : Would paying a 4 year loan off in 2 years hurt my credit?
I heard recently that if you pay a loan off too fast it actually hurts your credit because banks wont want to give you loans if they can't make any money off of the interest rate on your account. Is this true? If so, is 2 years too fast for a 4 year loan?

Answer:
A credit score is based on a 12 month activity. If you paid on time for 24 months, that should give a excellent credit score which is between 750-840

Question : Can you earn a 4 year college degree in 2 years?
I'm attending Ivy Tech and joining the Peace Corps after wards. I was wanting to know if I could get my 4 year degree in only 2 years so I could join the Peace Corps sooner. Thank!

Answer:
For some degrees it may be possible (you would prob kill yourself in the process) but many degrees require certain classes to be taken one before the other (prerequisites) and this would most likely prevent you from finishing in 2 yrs

Question : What will happen to the equity of your house by 2-4 years from now if the home was loan modified today?
Example: Previous value of house $300K and currently paying in mortgage, current value $200K and applied for loan modification, after 2-4 years from now $400K. Will the $200K additional value be considered as equity or AUTOMATICALLY be added in the owners debt/mortgage?

Answer:
None of the above.Equity is the current fair market value minus the remaining debt.Since the fair market value will change due to outside forces, you cannot predict what the equity will look like in the future.Even if the house value climbs from $200K to $400K and the equity changes from negative $100K to $100K, the loan balance is UNAFFECTED.The reason you get a loan modification has relatively nothing to do with the FMV. It has to do with your ability to pay the loan as you originally agreed to do. The problem with dropping housing prices is that people who lost their jobs discovered they couldn't sell or refinance. If you get a loan modification and now will pay 5 years longer on the loan, your equity position will be less than someone who never had their loan modified.

Question : If I transfer from a community college after 2 years to a 4 year, would I be considered a freshman?
Or a junior? I graduated HS last year in 2010 and ever since Fall 2010, I have been attending Community College. I am going to transfer to a 4-year school and start my semester there beginning Fall 2012. Would I be considered a freshman or a junior? I wish I would be considered a freshman .. so I can make up the 2 years of garbage and pain I've went through in community college.

Answer:
If you complete all the class requirements of the freshman and sophomore years you would be considered a junior upon entrance. The titles of freshman, sophomore, junior or senior are only symbolic and do not really give a true indication of ones standing in the school.

Question : are 4 years of foreign language required in 2+2 college program?

Answer:
